There was a single vehicle accident taking place on Highway 278 near the Spring Garden General Store just after 12:00 Friday afternoon.
One person was transported to Jacksonville Medical Center by Piedmont Rescue for treatment of minor injuries after the vehicle she was in left the roadway and crashed into a ditch.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating the accident.
