Several individuals were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County on Wednesday.

Richard Burt White age 49 and Paula Marie Jerrell age 38, both of Batesville, Alabama, were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia meanwhile Tonya Ann Seale age 40 also of Batesville was charged with two counts of the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Becky Marie Hunt, age 35 of Anniston, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance; Joey Todd Tierce, 42 of Centre – charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All five subjects were booked into jail between 1:30 and 3:30pm Wednesday and all five are still in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
