Mr. Michael Edward Harper, 57 of Centre, passed away Tuesday May 2nd at his residence.
Funeral service will be 1 P.M. Friday May 5th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel , burial will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
Pallbearers include Lathan Pruitt, Matthew Pruitt, Mike Pruitt, Adam Benson, James Martin, Jake Hightower, Jason MaHannah.
Survivors include his wife Ann Sanford Harper, daughters Alicia (Adam Benson) Harper of Cedar Bluff, Haley (James) Martin of Centre, Hannah (Jake Hightower) Harper of Leesburg; mother Barbara Harper of Centre; 7 grandchildren; 2 nephews and beloved dog Storm.
Mr. Harper was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Carl Edward Harper, and he served in the U.S. Army.
