Mrs. Mary Stinson age 90 of Centre passed away Tuesday May 2nd at her residence.
Funeral services will be 3: PM Thursday May 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Davis and Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating. Entombment will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are; Sam Chuckery, George Scroggins, Kevin McKinney, Justin Armstrong, David Garrett, Sid Garrett, Wayne Garrett, and Steve Garrett. Honorary Pallbearers are; Bill Davis, Joe Knighten, Charles Hopkins, Billy Mack Garrett, Phil McKinney, Michael McKinney, Tom Garrett, Donnie Garrett, Charles Knighten, Tom Hester, Benny Knighten, and Ray Knighten.
Memorials may be made to Centre First United Methodist Church. The family will accept house plants only.
Mrs. Stinson is survived by her sons: Vance Alan (Theresa) Stinson of Tyler, TX, Timothy (Joan) Stinson of Centre, daughter; Julia (Mike) Chesnut of Sand Rock, two grandchildren; Heath Chesnut of Sand Rock, Joanna (Justin) Armstrong of Centre ,and several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded n death by her husband Vance Stinson.
Mrs. Stinson was a native of Cherokee County the daughter of the late Ben and Rosa Price Knighten. She was a member of Centre First United Methodist Church.
