Just after 7:00am on Wednesday units with the Centre, Spring Creek, and Leesburg fire departments were dispatched to a house fire on East Main Street just down from Centre City Hall.
As firefighters arrived on the scene they were met by smoke billowing from the attic area of the structure, however there were no flames visible. It appeared no one was in the home as firefighters entered the structure through a door at the rear of the residence.
