A two-vehicle wreck in Leesburg Friday morning resulted in one person being transported for treatment of their injuries.

Just before 9:00am a pickup and a passenger car collided at the red light on Highway 411 at the Coosa Corner, with a passenger in the truck being taken for treatment by Cherokee EMS Each driver appeared to be okay; those responding to the scene included both the Leesburg and Centre Police Department and the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
