A Cedar Bluff resident was reportedly injured in a single-vehicle wreck occurring near Sand Rock late Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the wreck took place at 5:30pm on Highway 273 approximately five miles south of Sand Rock and involved a 2003 Chevrolet, driven by 18 year old Adrianna Smith, who was listed on the report as being hurt in the mishap.

The report indicated that she was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident however no additional information was available regarding the extent of her injuries.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
