A Centre resident was injured in a single-vehicle accident on County Road 29 shortly before midnight.  According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report – that wreck occurred approximately four miles north of Piedmont at 11:50pm Sunday, involving a 2008 Toyota driven by 19 year old Hunter Cash.

The report indicated that Cash was wearing his seat belt at the time; however no additional information regarding the extent of his injuries was noted.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
