One person was injured after crashing his motorcycle on County Road 45 just after 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening.
Units with the McCord’s Fire Department, Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad, Cherokee County Deputies and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency were dispatched to the scene.
McCord’s First Responders arrived on the scene to find the male individual laying face down off the road after apparently having been thrown from the bike.
He was transported to Redmond Medical Center in Rome for treatment of injuries, the extent of which is not known at this time.
