Mrs. Emily Morgan McManus 65 of Gadsden passed away Sunday April 2nd at her residence.
Funeral services will be 7 PM Wednesday April 5th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 until 7 PM Wednesday.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Centre Elementary School Teachers and Former Teachers.
Survivors include husband, Tom McManus of Gadsden; daughters, Gena (Dennis) Norton of Marietta, Ga. and Mandy (Janko) Emedi of Bowling Green, Ky.; brothers, Fred (Jan) Norton of Piedmont and Charles “Duna” Norton of Homewood; and 4 grandchildren, Wade Morgan, Anna Norton, Anna Emedi and Brooklyn Emedi.
Mrs. McManus was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Frank and Virginia Hall Norton and was a school teacher and of the Baptist Faith.
