Bodily Murder Case Bound Over to Grand Jury

Accused killer Larry Bodily was back in court in Cherokee County on Monday (April 3rd), in the courtroom of Judge Wes Mobley, and that case was bound over to the grand jury.

Bodily is reportedly being represented by Milford Lee Cushen of the Ft Payne-based firm of Killian & Cushen.

Bodily, age 48 stands charged with the murder of his mother, 68 year old Karen Willmon, and he has been held in the Cherokee County Detention Center on a bond of $500,000 since his arrest on February 19th (2017).

A preliminary autopsy report from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences stated the victim died from multiple gunshot wounds and blunt force trauma to the head.
