Mr. George Gardner age 63 of Pinson, Al. passed away Sunday at the V.A. Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday April 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby McFarland officiating, burial will follow in Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Robert Shore, Curtis Ragsdale, B.J. Hopson, Clay Shore, Butch Oliver, Brian Fuller and Jimmy Watson.
Survivors include daughter, Angela Gardner of Germany; brother, Stanley Gardner of Frankfort, In.; sisters, Patricia (Tommy) Duke of Wadley, Joann Bullard of Montevallo, Debbie (Mark) Rubadue of Indianapolis, In.; two grandchildren, Justin Shore and Luca Gardner; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Helen Gardner.
Mr. Gardner was a native of McCracken County Ky. and the son of the late Tommie Franklin and Annie Rean Knops Gardner.
