Mrs. Shelby Grimes age 63 of Centre passed away Saturday March 18th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday March 22nd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Ballew officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Survivors include son, Calvin Andy (Dana) Grimes of Centre; daughter, Amber Renae Grimes of Centre; sisters, Alice Allen of Piedmont, Betty Davis of Piedmont, Kay (John) Thacker of Piedmont; three grandchildren, Calvin Andrew Grimes Jr., Trent and Luke Glaze; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Grimes; brother, Charles Canter and sisters, Barbara Studdard and Pat Davis.
Mrs. Grimes was a native of Piedmont and the daughter of the late Clifford Eugene and Naomi Doyal Davis and a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church.
