There will be a dinner and silent auction coming up this Wednesday in the Community Room at Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre.

Auction bidding will take place from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., dinner will be served from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. and final auction bidding will take place from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Dinner will consist of BBQ, mac and cheese, black eyed peas, greens, cornbread muffins, dessert and a drink.

Tickets are $50 and that’s good for two meals and access to the silent auction. Free childcare will be provided for preschool to 5th grade with pizza, a movie and games provided for the kids.

This is a three prong fundraiser with portions of the proceeds going to prom funds for Cherokee County High School, 15% of profits will be earmarked for the medical expenses for former Cherokee County High School Teacher Carol Oliphant and a minimum of 10% of the profits earmarked for the CCHS Class of 2017 school/civic contribution.
