A joint investigation between the Centre and Leesburg Police Departments has led to the arrest of a Sand Rock man on drug distribution charges.
According to Centre Police, 35 year old Andrew Dean Fountain was arrested on Sunday charged with two counts of the Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance. Fountain was booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 4:30 where he remains without bond.
Centre and Leesburg Investigators say that Fountain has been distributing Methamphetamine in the Centre and Leesburg area for some time.
According to Investigators with the two departments, this is a prime example of a good inter-agency relationship and working together for the good of the community.
