Emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident on County Road 1 near the New Bethel Baptist Church in Sand Rock just after 10:30 Friday night. Cherokee EMS, the Sand Rock Fire Department, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and Alabama State Troopers were called to the scene.
