Two men were arrested on drug charges just after midnight Saturday in Cherokee County.
Marlon David Simmons, age 57 of Centre, charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and with the Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills – while Andrew Dean Fountain, age 35 of Sand Rock was charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Prescription Drugs.
Both were taken into custody between midnight and 12:30am Sunday.
Simmons and Fountain remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting setting of bond.
