Yobro10/iStock/Thinkstock(MINNESOTA) – Minnesota Timberwolves forward Zach LaVine announced Wednesday that he will not participate in this year’s dunk contest at All-Star Weekend.
The two-time champion says he wants to focus on helping the Timberwolves making the playoffs and has nothing left to prove.
LaVine defeated Aaron Gordon in last year’s dunk contest.
Wolves head coach Tom Thibodeau says he approves of LaVine’s decision.
