The driver of a Hyundai very fortunately escaped injury after her vehicle left the roadway on Summer Place Road in Cedar Bluff and struck a tree.
The driver of the vehicle told WEIS Radio News that she was on her way home when a deer ran out in front of the car, she attempted to slam on the brakes however it was raining heavily and the road was slick.
Other than minor bumps and bruises she did say that she was ok. Cedar Bluff Firefighters had to cut the tree before the vehicle could be removed from the scene. Cedar Bluff Police also responded to the scene.
