A two-vehicle crash approximately a half-mile from the Alabama/Georgia state line brought traffic down to one lane on Highway 9 for a short period of time Thursday morning.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report the accident involved a 2003 Ford Escape driven by Stephanie Moore of Fort Payne and a 2014 Chevy Silverado pickup truck driven by Michael McCord of Centre.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the mishap. The Cedar Bluff Fire Department and Alabama State Troopers were dispatched to the scene.

The cause of the wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
