President-elect Donald Trump thanked legendary country band Alabama, for performing at the Chairman’s Global Dinner in Washington Tuesday night. At 8:03am Wednesday, Trump tweeted – “@TheAlabamaBand was great last night in D.C. playing for 147 diplomats and ambassadors from countries around the world. Thanks Alabama!” The dinner was a black-tie, invitation-only affair introducing foreign diplomats to the incoming administration.
