iStock/Thinkstock(PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico) — Shots reportedly rang out inside a crowded nightclub during an electronic dance music festival in the Mexican resort town of Playa del Carmen.
Social media users from multiple countries attending the BPM Festival tweeted about the experience, some saying they saw dead bodies inside a nightclub.
The attorney general’s office in Quintana Roo, the state where the incident took place, confirmed the shooting but did not give any details on numbers of dead or injured.
