Five Arrested on Drug Charges in Cherokee County on Tuesday

A total of five drug arrests were made in Cherokee County on Tuesday – with three of those arrested being from Centre, one from Cedar Bluff, and one a resident of Piedmont.

 

Joshua Eugene Webb, age 35, and Erik Brent Ellard, age 33, both from Centre, were charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Webb was additionally charged with Failure to Appear on prior charges of Receiving Stolen Property 3rd Degree.

Eric Dakota Ellard, age 18 of Centre charged with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Daniel Patrick Paul age 42 from Cedar Bluff charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – and also Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Mary Ann Anderson age 44 of Piedmont – charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both Webb, and Erik Brent Ellard, were booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center just after 1:00pm where they remain awaiting a bond hearing; Eric Dakota Ellard booked in at around the same time, made bond of $1,000 at around 5:00 that afternoon.

Paul was booked in around 8:00am and bonded out just prior to 11:00am with bond having been set at $1,500 – while Anderson remains in jail with bond yet to be set.  She was booked in just after 5:30pm.
