Two Cherokee County men were arrested on drug charges Monday.
James Carl Hackett, 21 of Cedar Bluff was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – meanwhile 24 year old Zachary Shawn Williamson of a Centre address was charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Public Intoxication.
Hackett was booked into jail just after 9:00 that morning – with Williamson being booked in shortly after 1:30 that afternoon.
Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting setting of bond.
