Three Etowah County residents were arrested on drug charges locally overnight.
Robert Verlon Rowell age 30, and Elizabeth Kitchens Kuechle age 24, both of Gadsden, were arrested and charged with two counts each of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and with Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Kuechle was also charged with Theft of Property 3rd Degree. Both were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center just prior to 1:30am.
34 year old Rainbow City resident Jeremy Lee Barfield, was booked in around 2:15, charged with one count each of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
All three remain behind bars awaiting setting of bond.
No additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding those arrests, has been released at this time.
