GM to Temporarily Close Five US Factories

General Motors(NEW YORK) — General Motors is temporarily closing five of its factories in the U.S. in an effort to reduce a growing inventory of cars.

The closures are set to begin next month. The factories affected are located in Michigan, Ohio, Kansas and Kentucky.

These plants make nearly every car in GM’s fleet.
