On Wednesday, December 21st – American Legion Post #62 will hold a special Appreciation Event for Cherokee County Veterans residing at the Cherokee County Nursing Home, at 877 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre, starting at 2:00pm.

WEIS Radio News spoke with County Commander Daniel Kovacs who told us that Cherokee County Veterans and members of the public are encouraged to stop by during that time and express their gratitude to these brave individuals who served their country, during times of need.
