Stockbyte/Thinkstock(MILWAUKEE) — The former Milwaukee police officer who fatally shot Sylville Smith was charged Thursday with first-degree reckless homicide.
Dominique Heaggan-Brown is accused of the shooting death of Smith on Aug. 13.
