Mr. H.D. Robertson, Jr., age 95, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

A native of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, Mr. Robertson moved to Powder Springs, GA in 1986. He worked as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring after 30 years of employment. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp, serving during WWII, and was a longtime member of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school, served as a Deacon, and enjoyed custodial work there in his later years. He also loved gardening and farming.
