Ms. Sara Catherine Tucker, age 86, of Dekalb, TX, passed away December 6th at her residence.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Sunday December 11th at Tuckers Chapel Methodist Church, with Rev. Wayne Killian and Rev. Herbert Reed officiating; burial will follow in Tucker’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Saturday December 10at Perry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Jeff Longshore, Ray Longshore, Harold Stansell, Gary Bryan Evans, Tony Walker, Todd Yarbrough, Bobby Oliver, and Rocky Oliver.
Honorary Pallbearers include Kermit Butler, Babe Carver, Tommy Espy, and Coleman Burns.
Survivors includedaughtersWanda (Ray) Ferber of Rocksprings, WY., Cathy (Bobby) Oliver of Sand Rock; son M.O. “Tuck” (Donna)Tucker of Dekalb, TX; grandchildren Logan Tucker, Kristen Craig, Rocky Oliver, Selena Cleveland, Tina Dover, and Miranda Bobo; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; Special friend Bobbi Adkins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Young Tucker, brothers Bob Longshore and Buddy Longshore; sisters Elizabeth Lovett and Martha Gilliland
Ms. Tucker was a native of Dekalb County, daughter of the late Marvin and Sally Appleton Longshore, and a member of Tuckers Chapel Methodist Church.
