Mr. William Jackson(Jack) Morgan Sr. age 95 of Centre passed away Wednesday December 7th at Cherokee Village.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday December 9th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter and Dr. Eddie Nation officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 11 AM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Staff and Former Staff of Lyons and Morgan CPA and BuildersII Sunday School Class.
Survivors include sons, Jack Morgan Jr. of Centre, David (Jennifer) Morgan of Centre and Michael Morgan of Elmore, Al.; daughters, Carol (Jim) Alldredge of Birmingham and Elaine (Chris) Patty of Talking Rock, Ga.; sister, Lucille Mahone of Decatur, Ga.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Dorothy Morgan.
Mr. Morgan was a native ofDekalb County and the son of the late Isaac Calvin and Della Jane Darby Morgan. He was an Accountant and member of First Baptist Church of Centre.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church General Fund.
