A Centre man was shaken up in a single-vehicle accident taking place Wednesday afternoon in downtown Centre.
According to the Centre Police Department accident report, Josh Lambert, age 26, crashed a 2005 Toyota Camry into a street light in front of the Cherokee County Courthouse, just after 4:00pm.
No other vehicles were involved, and Lambert luckily escaped serious injury – being treated at the scene by Cherokee EMS.
The Centre Police and Fire Departments also responded to the scene.
That cause of that accident remains under investigation.
