One person was injured in a three vehicle accident on Highway 411 North at mile marker 249 on Friday. That accident involved a passenger car, a u-haul van and a Cherokee Electric vehicle.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report those involved were listed as 45 year old William Stimpson of Leesburg driving a 2015 Dodge, 73 year old Howard Ollis of Columbus, Georgia driving a 2017 Nissan and 41 year old Billy Green of Louisville, Kentucky who was driving the 2014 GMC U-Haul truck.
Green was injured when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned in the front yard of a residence, the report did note that he was wearing his seat belt.
The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
