Law Enforcement Looking For Former Popeye’s Manager In Connection To Arson Fire Earlier This Year

According to WRGA News, local law enforcement officials are looking for a man suspected in the arson in connection with a fire at a local fast food restaurant.

Popeye’s on Shorter Avenue was extensively damaged by fire on September 2.

The suspect is a manager, identified as Kelvin Marquez Thomas. He is wanted on charges of arson, theft by taking and criminal damage to property, according to information from Lt. Joe Costolnick of the Rome Police Department and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.
