A Victorian Christmas is scheduled to be celebrated in downtown Summerville this Sunday, December 4th.
Window displays depicting the Victorian Era will come alive as narrators share the story of days past. Free guided walking tours with narration will be scheduled for 1:30 and 2:30pm
The tours will begin at the Chattooga County Courthouse and will include the rich history of downtown Summerville. Sights highlighted will include the staged window displays located at the Historic Summerville Depot and Couey House.
The event will conclude with a showing of “It’s A Wonderful Life” in the Dandee Denson Theater. Movie admission is $5.00.
The Victorian Christmas Walk is co-sponsored by Summerville Main Street and Chattooga County Historical Society.
