Ft Payne Police Department Investigators are currently seeking assistance from the public  in identifying and locating a woman who apparently stole a Toys for Tots donation jar off of the counter at a DeKalb County restaurant.

Police Chief Randy Bynum said the woman came into the restaurant, then walked up to the counter and began complaining about the food she had purchased the day before. 

The employee went into her office, called her supervisor in an attempt to get permission to redo the order, and then returned to the counter. 

When she returned, the woman had left the store – and so had the donation jar.
