Leesburg, Sand Rock and Centre Firefighters were called to the scene of a Cabin Fire at Joseph’s Campground on Deere Run off of Mackey Street in Leesburg at 3:00 Monday afternoon.
Leesburg Firefighters were first to arrive and found the structure already on the ground, extremely dry conditions also sparked a sage field fire next to the structure and a second crew had to work to contain it.
At this time it is not known exactly what caused the fire, DC Gas crews were also called to the scene as firefighters removed at least three propane bottles from the burning rubble.
