Students and staff in Cherokee County Schools will honor our veterans in the coming days.
Veterans, veterans’ families, parents, and community members are all invited to attend the following programs.
- Spring Garden School – Monday, November 7th at 6:00pm in the auditorium (old gym). First and second grade students will perform to honor veterans.
- Sand Rock School – Wednesday, November 9th at 9:00am in the new gym. A reception for veterans and their friends and family will follow in the Hospitality Room.
- Gaylesville School – Wednesday, November 9th at 1:00pm in the gym.
- Centre Middle School – Thursday, November 10th at 8:40am with Ms. Renee Williams as the special guest speaker.
- Cedar Bluff School – Thursday, November 10th at 9:00am in the high school gym.
- Centre Elementary School – Thursday, November 10th at 1:30pm.
- Cherokee County High School – Monday, November 14th at 10:30am in the gym. A luncheon for veterans and their families will immediately follow the program to honor the special guests.
Cherokee County Schools will be closed Friday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day.
