The 43 year old Gadsden man accused of shooting and killing his mother and her boyfriend, is now behind bars.
According to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin, Jeremy James Jerry has been charged in connection with the shooting death of both 65 year old Joyce Ann Brown Good and 62 year old Jimmie Ray Lively shortly after 12:00 noon Wednesday.
Authorities said that Jerry has confessed to investigators that he was indeed involved in the killing, which began as a domestic dispute/verbal argument at the scene of the crime at 307 Aderholt Street in Gadsden, just inside the Glencoe City Limits.
The investigation into the matter is on-going and Jerry is currently being held without bond in the Etowah County Detention Center.
