iStock/Thinkstock(SEATTLE) – The largest online retailer in the world has extended Black Friday from a single day to now over a month. Amazon.com announced that its Black Friday Deals Store will run from Nov. 1 to Dec. 22, with new deals appearing as often as every five minutes.
The site will offer customers more than a dozen curated holiday gift guides, ranging from electronics to home gifts to handmade items. Thousands of the handcrafted items are eligible for Free Two-Day Shipping with the company’s Amazon Prime service in addition to being personalized.
In addition to the Two-Day Shipping, the online retailer will also be offering more tools to shop. Beginning on Nov. 15, customers who own an iPhone can use Package X-Ray to see what’s in a delivered box without opening it by scanning the barcode with the camera. In addition, Amazon.com customers will be able to use their smartphone cameras to take pictures of any item and search for it on the app.
There are also exclusive deals for customers who own Amazon products such as the Echo, Tap, or Fire TV, in addition to many others.
