Technology is the future – and the future is here.
Many well-known, well-established employers such as Honda and Mercedes, and right here in Cherokee County, KTH – actively seek trained people to work as maintenance technicians and these are jobs which offer excellent pay and benefits.
Brett Keasler and Keith Tolbert with the Cherokee County Career & Tech Center stopped by the WEIS Radio studios on Thursday morning to talk about the C.H.A.M.P. program.
The program is available to current high school students and above – and is actually geared toward adults.
This is a 35 hour program and is a seven week course at the rate of five hours a week – with classes running two-and-a-half hours, from 5:00 – 7:30 on Tuesday and Thursday night, and these classes are FREE.
