Little information has been released, however, Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader has announced that a total of six people – two adults and four children – died in a residential fire north of Trion on Sunday night.
The sheriff stated that the fire occurred at around 11:00pm in the Airport Subdivision.
He added that Sheriff’s Office Investigators are working with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, in an effort to determine the cause of the blaze.
