iStock/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — President Obama took to Twitter Thursday morning to congratulate Hillary Clinton on her performance in Wednesday night’s third and final presidential debate of the 2016 election.

With the debates now concluded, the president is wasting no time in hitting the campaign trail for his former secretary of state in the final push before Election Day on Nov. 8. Obama heads to Florida to stump for Clinton in that critical battleground state Thursday afternoon.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are also going out to campaign Thursday in states the Democrats hope to win in the presidential election. Biden will go to the swing state of New Hampshire, while the first lady is bound for the typically red state of Arizona which Democrats hope may be within striking distance for them in the November balloting.
