Photo by Taylor Hill/Getty Images for The Meadows(NEW YORK) — A rep for Kim Kardashian West has confirmed that the reality star was held up at gunpoint in Paris Sunday evening.
The rep said in a statement obtained by ABC News, “Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
She has been in the city in recent days for Paris Fashion Week.
Kardashian West’s husband, Kanye West, was in New York City Sunday night, performing at a music festival.
According to Billboard, Kanye ended his set at the Meadows Festival in Queens 20 minutes early, at 9:40 p.m., during a performance of his song “Heartless,” and announced to the crowd that he had a family emergency.
Video of the announcement was posted by fans on social media.
The Twitter account for the Meadows Festival posted, “Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely.”
