A 57 year old Cherokee County man was arrested on drug charges earlier in the week.
According to information in a news release issued by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was executed at a Sand Rock residence and a subsequent search, led to the discovery of methamphetamine.
As a result Michael Stimpson was taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He remains lodged in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $4,000.
