A northwest Georgia resident has been arrested in Cherokee County, in connection with the burglary of a business in the Piney community.

Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators witnessed the suspect – 45 year old Bradley Scott Short – and his truck along the side of the road near the scene of the burglary and were able to recover property from the vehicle.

Short was placed under arrest on charges of Burglary 3rd Degree, and Theft of Property 4th Degree before being booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center at around 10:00am Thursday.
