At around 10:45 Wednesday morning, WEIS Radio received a report of someone being hurt in an accident involving a car and a four-wheeler just south of 411 on County Road 28.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, those involved were a 42 year old Piedmont woman, Patsy Gilmer, driving a 2010 Nissan, and a 20 year old Centre man, Dylan Cockerham, on a 2003 Yamaha.  

The McCord’s Crossroads Fire Department was dispatched to the scene of that accident and found Cockerham suffering with injuries – although no additional information regarding the extent of his injuries was noted on the report.

The accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
