Floyd County authorities are still investigating the accident that sent a truck crashing into a home in the northern portion of the county on Monday.
The driver of a Ford Ranger was transported to the hospital for treatment after that vehicle slammed into a house at 4109 Black’s Bluff Road.
According to reports the truck left the roadway, jumped a ditch, and flipped before crashing into the home; the driver had to be extricated by emergency responders and fortunately, no one inside the structure was injured.
It still remains unclear what caused the driver to lose control.
