Mr. Patrick Earl Garmon, age 72 of Hokes Bluff passed away Thursday September 22nd at his residence.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday, September 26th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Nation and Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating; burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM Sunday, September 25th at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Stan Garret, John Garmon, Shawn Garmon, Ryan Clark, Jordon Fenton and Brian Garmon. Honorary Pallbearers will be his Sunday School Class, Patrick & Brodie Garmon.
Survivors include wife, ElaineMcBroom Garmon of Hokes Bluff; sons, John (Elaine) Garmon of San Diego, CA., Shawn (Cortney) Garmon of Murfreesboro, TN, Brian Garmon of Woodville; daughters, Yvette Garmon of Central Bridge, NY, Maureen (Ryan) Garmon of Windsor, VTand Kathleen Garmon of Murfreesboro, TN; Stepson, Jeremy (Courtney) Hammond of Oklahoma City, OK; mother, Mrs. Norine Garmon of Centre; sister, Pam (Kirk) Evans of Springville; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
Mr. Garmon was a native of Memphis, Tn., and the son of the late John Arthur Garmon, was a Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.)from the US Army, and retired senior liaison officer for Lockheed-Martin. He was also a retired President of DSE Industries andwas a member of Centre First Baptist Church.
