Also during that meeting some discussion was given concerning the 2016/2017 budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Board member Norman Burton made a formal motion to table the passing of the budget until the October meeting due to some further detailed discussion which needs to be addressed.

The board also accepted the monthly report from Board Manager Jeff Harrell, including a request to have a tree removed at the water tank on Old Highway 9. The tree is in danger of causing some damage to the tank should limbs or the tree itself fall, the lowest estimate came from Shelton Tree Service in the amount of $1,000.

Harrell said that all the smoke testing had been completed on the sewer system in the area of County Road 131 and now workers have to go back and complete the camera work on the project.

The board also went into an Executive Session with their Attorney to discuss the good name and character of an individual and did not reconvene.
